On January 8th, Albany police found an illegal handgun as part of an ongoing investigation and arrested Willie Hartfield, 62.

On January 9th, police arrested Yessenia Vasquez after responding to a disturbance.
They found a .22 caliber assault rifle in the home with two fully loaded magazines.

And on January 10th, police arrested Jahaad Heath and Aaron Jeffrey. The two were taken into custody for their alleged part in a number of armed robberies in the City of Albany.
