SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Schenectady police say they are looking for rosary beads belonging to a former nun found dead New Year's Day.

Mary Greco, 82, was found dead in her Stanford Street home.

Monday, the County DA said a suspect is in custody, but has not been charged in the homicide. Police say Greco's car was found in the parking lot of St. John the Evangelist Church shortly after her body was discovered.

Now police are looking for rosary beads given to her just days before her death. They say the rosary features eight millimeter Swarovski Amethyst crystal beads and a sterling silver crucifix.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Schenectady tips line at 382-5245 ext. 5617.
