LANDOVER, MD -- Eli Manning threw for almost 300 yards and a touchdown, Ahmad Bradshaw had 103 yards rushing, and Victor Cruz had 104 yards receiving. However, Monday night belonged to RGIII and the Washington Redskins.
The Giants were simply outplayed by the rookie sensation who had a throwing touchdown and a bizarre fumble that resulted in another score.
While the three offensive superstars were able to put up numbers, the Giants failed to move the ball anywhere near the redzone. They only had two attempts from inside the 20 yard line, of which they scored once, and kicked three field goals.
A few late game first downs sealed the 17-16 win for the now 6-6 Redskins. The Giants hold a slim lead over their divisional foe with a 7-5 record. They'll look to stay atop of the NFC-East when they take on New Orleans at home on Sunday.
