State Grant Paves Way for Glens Falls Solar Farm

The city of Glens Falls received state funding to build a new solar farm. As reporter Matt Hunter reports, the project is expected to save the city millions of dollars over the next 20 years.

Schoharie County Undergoing $25 Million Flood Prevention Project

Another half million dollars is being pledged for Hurricane Irene recovery in Schoharie County. As reporter Barry Wygel explains, the state money is part of a much larger plan to prevent a disaster like the one three years ago, from happening again.

Options and Public Comment Presented for Proposed Valley View Transfer

It is back to the drawing board in the debate over the Valley View nursing home in Orange County. After a judge ruled in July that the transfer of the 300 plus bed home to an LDC was illegal, the legislature met Monday night, for a public hearing on a new plan to transfer the home.
